I have an FO (Finished Object) to report! I now have a blue grey brown hat made out of Lorna's Laces Fingering Weight. I even made a little tassle for the top! This of course means I've started on a new project, as finishing a hat in two days with me only working on it off and on has given me a great sense of accomplishment (please do not remind me of the number of WIP's still in my closet. :D ) . It's another hat, because I really like this whole finish a project in less than a week thing. I can do that with normal projects, but only if I devote a lot of time to them, as in 4 or more hours a day. Frankly, I have a life, and that tends to prevent that sort of thing from happening. Anyways, the new project is a really soft cabled hat (pictures soon) made from grey chunky alpaca yarn. It's lovely to work with. I also purchased some yarn for my sister's Christmas present; she wanted lime green mittens. I'm going to make them out of Cascade's Cloud 9, so they are going to be a cloud of lime green fuzziness (my former LYS's biggest sellers was this yarn, so I know exactly what Cloud 9 as a yarn knits up like, although it will be interesting to see it in this color.)
